Fishing Skill School has been established to create an outlet in recreational fishing for the community and especially for families and our young people of today. Fishing is a skill to master, appreciate and expect reward.

To be able to succeed and especially to enjoy a prosperous day out a level of understanding must be attained to establish grounding for catching quality fish.

An overview and hands on practical/theory lessons are provided for your level and ability under your discretion. All classes are held at whatever level of fishing competency you feel is achievable. This will inevitably involve problem solving, team work, discovering and understanding nature’s patterns through a fisherman’s eyes. A number of different fishing sessions are now available at an affordable cost to all.

Private Tuitions and chartered fishing sessions are available on request and price is on application to suit the individuals or groups needs.

Our aim is to enhance your skills by providing a fun, entertaining and educational environment which will give you the opportunity to do it yourself!

Fishing Skill School aims to bring families together and help them enjoy the recreational opportunities on their doorstep.  A general education of the basics of fishing and preservation of our local fish species will increase household participation in recreational fishing and unite us once more with family and friends. 

Class room lessons cover both theory and hands on practical lessons.  Classes are kept small to provide personal assistance.  Theory lessons consist of a maximum of 30 participants, and practical lessons consist of a maximum of 20 participants.
